safety pin hanger for mojo inspiration at Artistic Creationz

Thrown together in a very quick and creative way, using corrugated box as the base with a strip of hessian, lace on denium and cotton lace.
topped with corrugated flower and a few paper flowers and altered key by faith, and a cotton butterfly on corrugated bd on denium. Stamped calico trim and coloured with gelato wash.
Actually the denium and lace was part of a banner set hanging over my veggie garden since last nov...so now very raggy...cant throw out good denium!! re-use it!! yah!

Blue canvas - Mixed media

OOHH!!! So love this canvas!!  This was the result of stagent week with nothing creative to produce. Cleaned up my desk and pulled out an old Christmas canvas I had started 2 years ago and never finished. I had a napkin with 9 sqs on each  quarter..red and gold xmas stuff...I had cut and mounted and distressed each sq and stuck it on each end of the canvas with a big gap in the middle....and that's how  it stayed for years.................I  then stumbled onto luvleescrappns utube of "mixed media jumbo tag" and inspiration was born!!!!yippee...!!!
what I did..................painted the whole thing in blue(French blue jo Sonja paint)
bubble wrap stamped in a white blue mix paint
paintwashed book pages and stuck on here n there
Dusty attic flourishes blue/silver and TH ink, caramel
Made the flowers from denium and painted up some nylon ones and painted cheese cloth
stuck on bottle top magents ($1 6pkt from warehouse stationery) Bling of an old pair of sandels
Kaisercraft blue small flowers painted with more paint
Birdcage TH with little flowers and feathers from Brenda
skeleton leaves, tin décor, key and painted corrugated box and look and my Corrugated flower...Tim Holtz die and I intended to peel the paper intirely off, so after I had peeled up 2 or 3 petals....I thought HEY!! that looks good! so that gives the uplifted petal effect. And just slapped on some paint very randomly  and glued to a denium flower base.
added lightbulb and words and Dusty attic wire chipboard painted silver.
Hope you love it and are inspired too...enjoy.
